  • The University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering, established in 1941,is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. More than 2,220 students are enrolled in engineering courses—1,620 undergraduates, 450 masters, and 150 doctoral students in chemical, mechanical, electrical and computer, civil and environmental, and industrial engineering. The college also offers programs in telecommunications, distribution and logistics, materials, biomedical, aerospace, and petroleum. Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have ranked among the top programs nationally.

UH College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics
  • Among the most important indicators of the success of an academic institution are the success of its graduates and its research productivity. College of NSM graduates continue to be highly sought after by local and national corporations and nationally-ranked graduate programs. The number of our students accepted to medical schools increased by 22% in the last year. The College’s research funding saw a record increase of more than 20% from last year’s level.
